Players to Keep in Mind for The MVP

As the race for MVP continues there are a few key players to keep your eye on. Those players including Tamika Catchings (Indiana Fever), Cappie Pondexter (Phoenix Mercury), and Lauren Jackson ( Seattle Storm). All of whom are key players not only in the WNBA but as members of their team. Each player has their strengths and weakness but as the title for MVP gets closer it should be interesting to see who comes out on top.

Also matching up tonight is the San Antonio Stars versus the Atlanta Dream tipping off at 8:00pm.

WNBA Standings as of 8/4/09

As one of the growing sports in America the WNBA is getting that much closer to crunch time as teams fight to win their last couple of games. In the Western conference the number one team (Phoenix) will be going up against the number two team in the conference (Seattle) August 4, 2009. With intense competition and the season getting closer to the end, one can only imagine the battle between these two teams to be fierce. In the Eastern conference we are not as likely to see as intense action as the number one team (Indiana) faces off against number four team (Chicago), while Indiana is on a three game winning streak.

Orlando Will Win NBA Title Next Season!

Let's just set the record straight. I don't care about Kobe or Lebron next season, it's going to be all Magic. When you line up Dwight "Superman" Howard, Rashard Lewis, and Vince Carter on the same team, you may as well just hand them the title. Nothing against Lebron, Clevland will go far this season I'm sure, but Shaq is just trying anything he can to squeeze one more title out of the league before he retires within the next few years. I'm willing to state for the record right now that Orlandois taking it down next season. Period.
